Pastor Nathaniel Carson is the founder and senior pastor of The Shelter. In 2012, Pastor Carson knew that without a doubt he was to plant a ministry fit for the all people. In October 2012, The Shelter Church was officially born. He specifically has been called to the counseling and deliverance ministry, in which The Shelter itself can also be seen as a fit for any searching for deeper relationship with God. He pours fervently into those who are assigned to him.

His passions lie in seeing people free from the bondage of Satan. Some of his favorite things are his family, hunting, fishing, watching The Outdoor Channels and nature shows.

Pastor Deidra Carson has the honor and privilege to serve alongside her husband, Pastor Nathaniel Carson, as lead servants of The Shelter Church. Pastor Deidra’s love for God and his people retros back as far as she can remember. She is the Executive Pastor and can be found serving in just about any capacity needed. 

Her passions are found in the idea of the family unit flowing together with ministry. She knows that her most important role is being a wife, and mother to their five children. You can find her in her spare time embroidering just about anything her hands can touch.
